2022 Yule Basket Giveaway!
We would like to announce our 9th annual Yule Basket Giveaway!
The giveaway/raffle will run from Friday, December 2nd 2022 through Wednesday, December 14th 2022 and will be open to all eligible in-store customers and online customers. The drawing will be held on Thursday, December 15th 2022.
This year we will be doing a 2nd and 3rd chance drawing for a $100 gift card and a $50 gift card respectively.
- The grand prize winner will win everything in the gift basket
- The second chance drawing winner will win a $100 store gift card!
- The third chance winner will win a $50 store gift card!
The details are as follows:
Starting Friday December 2nd 2022, for each $10 made in a purchase of merchandise, the customer's name will be put in for the drawing for the gift basket. For example, if a purchase is made for $40, the customer will be given 4 entries into the giveaway drawing. (A purchase of $35.49, for example, would earn 3 entries.)
Purchases of a store gift card will also go towards entries into the drawing.
The giveaway/raffle will run from start of business Friday, December 2nd 2022 through the end of business Wednesday, December 14th 2022
All entries will be written on the same size and type of paper which we will provide to customers. Each slip will contain the customer name and form of contact (either phone number or email). We will fill out the information on the slips for our online customers. All entries will be kept inside a sealed box until the contest is over.
There are no limits for the amount of purchases a customer can make to be entered. Entries will be based on each individual purchase. Purchases made separately will not be combined to determine the amount of slips entered.
The drawing for the gift basket will take place the afternoon of Thursday, December 15th and the winner announced after they have been contacted. The basket can be picked up at the store or we will ship, free of charge, if needed. (Shipping only available to United States addresses)
**The second and third chance winners will be drawn immediately after the 1st place is drawn. Only one prize per customer will be given. As such, if a duplicate name is drawn for a second or third prize (a name that has already been drawn as a winner) that slip will be discarded and another name will be drawn.
**The Yule Basket Giveaway is open to all customers with the exception of the following:
The Coven's Cottage owners, employees, vendors, consignors, affiliates and their families.

**Yule Basket will be shipped to winning customer if local pickup is not feasible. Shipping available to United States addresses only.
****After the winners are drawn, we will be burning the remaining slips in a prosperous blessings ceremony in order to thank all participants and to protect the personal information of those who have entered.

*Online entries are filled out by us when online orders come in. If an item from an online order is out of stock due to an error on our part, the number of entries will still include the price of the out of stock item.
