Wolf Kolovrat Pendant Necklace

The kolovrat is an attribute of the Slavic solar deity, Svarog, the god of fire, heavenly light, or Sun Eternal, appropriately represented by its cyclic shape. The movement of the sun is indicated by the rotation of the symbol’s rays which look as if they’re spinning. It is believed to stand for the eternal cycle of life and death. 

For the Slavic peoples, wolves are tied to protection and ancestor worship. The wolf is also associated with the Slavic god of the moon, Horz.
