Enchanted Living Magazine is a quarterly print magazine that celebrates all things enchanted. Every issue features exquisite photography, original fiction and poetry, travel pieces (from bioluminescent bays to Scottish fairy hills and castles), artist profiles, recipes, home décor, otherworldly beauty tips, craft tutorials, and much more--with a dash of faerie (and mermaid, and dragon!) magic sprinkled throughout.

From the Editor:

"Given our well-documented, unabashed, and all-consuming love for autumn and its cozy, homespun days beside crackling fires and herb-strewn pots simmering on the stove, we think it’s high time we devoted an entire issue to cottages and the gorgeous creatures who inhabit them: cottage witches. (And perhaps their familiars too—a cat or five, a few dogs, an owl?) Of course, said cottage might be like the one featured on our cover, dreamed up by Megan Vaughan and constructed in a Virginia backyard, complete with a tower, a hobbit door, and hand-painted ivy swirling over the ceilings and walls. Or it might be your city walk-up with the water-tower view, or your tiny house on the outskirts of town.

No matter. Especially for the witch who imbues the world with magic, even as she (or he, or they) sweeps the floor or wipes down a table, whispering an intention all the while. “May this home be a place of peace” is Kimberly Workman’s suggestion, in “The Art of Enchanted Cleaning” on page 30.

In our cover story, that witchy figure is Molly Katherine, a.k.a. Scarlett O’Hair, who once again graces our pages and in them inhabits the dreamed-up, now-real backyard Virginia cottage, transforming from a broom-toting witch to an awakening Sleeping Beauty lying beneath an altar of hanging flora. She sips tea in a sweet kitchen and reads a book curled up in the library, her silk gown pooling on the floor beneath her. Isn’t that how you read—perhaps this very magazine—while whiling away an afternoon? You can be anything in your own cottage, make it anything you want it to be, after all, with a sweep of your broom and a whisper.

We hope you love this issue and find witchy inspiration in it, and that you enjoy this autumn season too, with all its gifts, inside and out of your own enchanted domain."
