Fenrir is a monstrous wolf in Norse mythology, the son of the god Loki and the giantess Angrboða. He is infamous for his immense strength and ferocity. The gods, fearing that he would bring destruction, bound him with a magical chain. Fenrir is prophesied to break free during Ragnarök, the end of the world, and devour the god Odin before being slain by Odin’s son, Víðarr.
