Triple Goddess Triskele Wall Plaque
The Maiden represents enchantment, inception, expansion, the female principle, the promise of new beginnings, youth, excitement, and a carefree erotic aura. The Mother represents ripeness, fertility, fulfillment, stability, and power. The Crone represents wisdom, repose, and compassion.
The Celtic triskele is thought to represent motion as all three arms are positioned to make it appear as if it is moving outwards from its center. Movement, or motion, is believed to signify energies, in particular within this Celtic Symbol the motion of action, cycles, progress, revolution and competition.
The 3 arms of the triskele are thought to be representative of life, death, rebirth; body, mind and spirit; mother, father and child; past, present and future to name a few. The triskele is also believed to represent three Celtic worlds; the spiritual world, the present world and the celestial world.
